To get started with our platform, you will need to link your GitHub profile so our reviewers can access your projects.
Step 1: Install the GitHub Open Commit app
Make sure that you have installed the GitHub Open Commit app on the GitHub organization that contains the repositories that you wish to be reviewed.
You can verify that the Open Commit app has been installed successfully by visiting your account settings, which will take you to your GitHub installation.
Step 2: Visit the Reviews Dashboard
Log into app.opencommit.com and click on "Reviews" in the navigation bar. Check that the GitHub organization you want to request a review from has been chosen from the dropdown menu in the navigation bar.
If you cannot see the repository you want to request a review of, or the GitHub organization itself, you can follow this guide.
Step 3: Request a Review
Click the "Request" button on any of the pull requests you want to assign a reviewer to. As soon as a review has been assigned, the status of the review will change to "Pending". Once a reviewer has started working on your repository, the status will change to "In Progress". After this point you cannot cancel your project review.
Request via GitHub
Alternatively, you can also include [OC] in your Pull Request's title in GitHub and the review will be automatically assigned to the platform for you. You also need to include the programming area and complexity of the project in square brackets so we can correctly assign your review. An example would be like this:
