Note: Only repository members with Admin or Owner access can authorize an app installation. If you do not have permission to install our integration, ask your organization admin.
Connect your account to Open Commit by authorizing with GitHub on the Dashboard or in your account settings:
Go to the Projects page and click "Add or Update Your Repositories" in order to link your account with the GitHub app.
After you have clicked the button you may be asked to sign in to GitHub, then you will be asked to install the Open Commit app.
Press the "Install" button on the GitHub Open Commit app authorization page. You can also access this page by clicking here.
You will then be asked to choose the GitHub Profile or GitHub Organization you would like to give the app permission to access. If you have already installed the Open Commit app in an organization or profile, then "Configure" will appear next to the account name.
If you do not see the organization you are trying to add, it may mean you do not have permission to install the app. If this is the case, give your organization owner this link and ask them to install the app on your behalf.
You will be asked to either give the app access to "All repositories" or "Select repositories". Choose the one which is applicable to you, then press the "Install" button when you are done.
You should now see all of your newly added repositories on the Open Commit Projects page. If you do not, check to ensure you have permission to all of the correct repositories at Step 5.
